This site is designed to be a daily devotional and is also dedicated to dispelling false teaching that America was not conceived as a Christian Nation. The historical writings of our Founding Fathers prove that the United States of America was conceived, born and built upon the precepts taught in the Holy Bible. We offer several online Christian Resources and syndicated Christian columnists.
This website is an online ministry of Aletheia Ministries and Contains devotional poems written by James A. Frost (July 6, 1920 – April 21, 1993). These inspirational poems provoke thought, and are meant to inspire and encourage readers. Mr. Frost was a devout Christian and father of four and grandfather of twelve. During the last few decades of his life he wrote daily in his journals and expressed his love of his God, his family and his friends. He expressed his intense optimistic faith in every verse. His wife and his friends called him “Jack” and also “Frosty.” His children called him “Dad,” but his grandchildren all called him “Poppy.” Mr. Frost lived out his faith and wrote down reflections of it. His writings captured snapshots of his life and his faith in God. These devotional poems will hopefully plant seeds of faith in the hearts of those who read them. James Frost attended Furman University in Greenville, SC.
Spiritual and political commentary, thoughts and reflection, as well as some photography, will be added by Rev. Samuel A. Lawrence. He is the web minister of Christian Faith in America, and is married to Traci, the daughter of James and Ruby Frost.
Rev. Lawrence is an ordained Southern Baptist minister. He was licensed to preach in 1984 by Oakcrest Baptist Church in Greenville, SC. In 1989 he was ordained to the Gospel Ministry by East Side Baptist Church in Liberty, SC.
Samuel was born to Joe and Lena Lawrence in April, 1959, and raised in a mill community in Greenville, SC. He accepted Christ and was baptized at Poe Baptist Church in Greenville in 1977. After his Christian conversion, Samuel studied the Bible with intensity. He became involved in the youth ministry at Brandon Baptist and briefly sang with their youth ensemble in area churches. He joined Oakcrest Baptist Church in 1980. In late 1980, Sam answered the call to ministry. In early 1981, he enrolled at North Greenville College in Tigerville, SC. Today he is dedicating his talents to this online ministry and is available for teaching seminars and pulpit supply.
Samuel met his wife, Traci Frost, at Oakcrest Baptist Church in January, 1980. They were married, at the church where they met, seven years later on Valentine’s Day, 1987. They now have five children and live in Easley, SC. Traci graduated from Washington Avenue Christian School and attended Greenville Technical College where she studied Nursing. Today she serves as editor for Aletheia Web Design Company and also teaches our children at Aletheia Christian School.
1 Peter 3:8 (Living Bible) “You should be like one big happy family, full of sympathy toward each other, loving one another with tender hearts and humble minds.”
Our hope is that these articles and devotions will stir your heart and bless your soul, and that the commentary will rekindle the fires of Christian freedom and liberty this nation was founded upon.
