Annual Awareness Event for Friends of MANNA Ministries, Inc.

Dear Friends & Prayer Partners…

I can hardly wait for March 30, 2012 to get here. That, of course, is the date of our “Annual Friends of MANNA Ministries, Inc. Banquet.” I look forward to it for a number of reasons. We get to sit down and fellowship together around a delicious meal and then, of course, I always plan some of the best singing that you are going to be able to hear any place. We will have testimonies from people who have been saved in this last year, as well as those who were already saved, but will give testimony to the wonderful grace and great power of God. I then will look forward to sharing a short message with you about what God is doing in these days. Believe me, God is doing a lot in these days. Who is invited to attend? Everyone! It is an open invitation for anyone that would like to attend for them to attend. In fact, the more the better. Because we can not provide child-care we would ask that only adults attend. This would be a great weekend to attend the banquet and spend some time in Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge and the Smoky Mountains. I will really be disappointed if I don’t see you there.

I made mention of the wonderful grace and the great power of God in the previous paragraph. Let me give testimony of what I have witnessed in February.

Pictured above is a beautiful family along with two guest who are friends of the two children. All were saved on Sunday morning, February 11, 2012, at Bethlehem Baptist Church, Hazel Green, AL. They were 6 of the 32 that were saved of Sunday morning with an additional 20 saved on Saturday night at the Sportsman’s Banquet. There were 52 on the weekend saved. What an incredible movement of God.

Russell and Rhonda Benoit were 2 of the 15 saved at First Baptist Church, Sulphur, LA on Sunday morning, February 5, 2012. I will be back in that great church beginning Sunday, May 20, 2012, for a full revival.

On Friday night, February 24, 2012, I witnessed 59 people saved at a Wildgame Dinner sponsored by the Chipola Baptist Association located at the Eastside Baptist Church, Marianna, FL. Think of that, 59 people saved in one service who came primarily to eat deer, alligator and wild hog. Then on Sunday morning there were 2 young men saved in the One Day Revival service at Eastside Baptist Church for a total of 61 for the weekend.

I have to be one of the most blessed people on the face of this earth to see all the people saved that I see. Isn’t God so good. Just think of your investment. I go because there are people that give and because of your gift you have a great part of the greatest work this side of heaven by enlarging the Kingdom of God. As always, we are providing an envelope for you to write a check to MANNA Ministries, Inc. with you investment in the Kingdom work. Just as everybody is invited to the banquet, everybody is invited to have a part in MANNA Ministries, Inc.

One Last Look Back

From November, 2010 through the middle of December, 2011, was the most productive 13 months of my ministry. During that time in six different weeks I saw 2,122 saved. This was not in Africa, India or some other foreign country. This took place in the good ole U.S.A. Following is a breakdown of what God did during those six different week periods.

  • The week of November 6, 2010, in three locations there were 304 salvation decisions (Goss Baptist Church, Columbia, MS there were 252 of those 304.)
  • The week of February 11, 2011, First Baptist Church, Des Arc, AR there were 136 salvation decisions.
  • The week of May 11, 2011, First Baptist Church, Bristol, FL there were 145 salvation decisions.
  • The week-end of September 11, 2011, Picayune, MS there were 306 salvation decisions.
  • The week of November 6, 2011, in three locations (Revival Hosford, FL; Men’s Barn Meeting, Molino, FL; Sportsman’s Banquet, Olive Branch, MS) there were 125 salvation decisions.
  • The week-end of December 17-19, 2011, Sevier Heights Baptist Church at Thompson-Boling Arena, Knoxville, TN there were 1,106 salvation decisions.

Add to that all the revivals, sportsman’s banquets and special events and it will add up to well over 3,000 people being born into the Kingdom of God.

During that same time period we had the worst love offerings ever given. I say that to say, it is those precious people who partner with us by spending time in prayer and giving their financial resources that made that 13 month period happen. If you are not, would you be willing to start now by partnering with us.

Let’s look forward. Already this year, 2012, we have had over 100 saved in one service. In the picture is Pastor Terry and Pastor Zach, along with me, taken after a Wildgame Dinner. I can not imagine another year like last year, but only God knows. I would truly hope that every year would be like last year. I also believe that 2012 will be a good year. I will preach every opportunity that I get and share the gospel with every person that I have the opportunity to share with for the salvation of souls and the glory of God.
Please, please, please put March 30, 2012, 6:30 p.m. on your calendar. It is our Annual Ministry Banquet, at Dotson Memorial Baptist Church, 814 Dotson Memorial Rd, Maryville, TN 37801. Plan now to help us and also to attend.
